Christmas 2009

We had a wonderful Christmas this year. We had a great time just hanging out as a family. We took pictures of everyone in their Christmas outfits the Sunday before Christmas. On Christmas eve day we made cookies for Santa. Oakley really got into his work and sampled every cookie he tried to frost. After a while he stopped eating the cookies and just sampled the frosting. We had some really fun cookies in the end. Thanks to Grandma Joan all the kids got some fun new pj's that we opened Christmas eve. Christmas day was relaxing. When everyone woke up, Oakley was a bit grumpy so we watch Mickey's Christmas Carol while Oakley had a bottle. The big kids had their stuff unwrapped in minutes, Oakley made his Christmas last most of the day. He even got his new dinosaur involved in opening presents. We had fun setting up train track and monster truck track. We had DS wars and even a robot attack. You can't tell really from the pictures but Oakley is saying "Don't get me uh-bot" as the robot is slowing walking toward him. Matt got to try out his new popcorn popper. Good stuff. It was a good day.
